RFx Documents

RFx refers to a family of document types for soliciting responses and information from vendors. The three most common are: RFI (Request for Information), RFQ (Request for Quote), and RFP (Request for Proposal).

An RFQ is released when the product or service is specific, and the purchaser knows which quantities of product and levels of service their project requires. An RFP is released when a company or public entity (the procurement authority) is looking for a solution on a new or existing project. Responses to an RFP propose solutions, and the procurement authority evaluates both the cost and effectiveness of the solutions in each response.

I would like to take this opportunity to recommend and endorse Nathan’s writing services to you. He proved invaluable to our team at a time when we recognized that our capacity to produce a competitive bid package to our clients was lacking in comparison to what our competitors were producing.

Working with strict deadlines and time constraints did not prove to be a challenge for Nathan. He managed to unite our teams' individual efforts and create templates and workflows into a cohesive bid package that ultimately led to our firm to being awarded a large contract. If we had not engaged Nathan, I truly believe we would not have had a successful outcome.

Our firm truly owes Nathan much gratitude for his insight and services. Do your company a favour and take advantage of his services.

CCDC Form Preparation

CCDC documents simplify the bidding and contracting process. They standardize the procedures so that the procurement authority knows what to expect from each respondent. Likewise, the vendors know what they can expect to include in their response packages.

Because bids and responses are often released with tight deadlines, a big part of replying to an RFP or RFQ is having the facts and figures from your internal documentation ready to insert into one of the standard forms like CCDC Form 11. Good documentation and organization on your part means you can check each box and do it in a timely manner. The ability to fill every field in these forms shows the kind of professionalism and dedication procurement authorities are looking for.

I can work with you to develop and organize your internal documentation so that you will be ready for bids and requests. RFPs and RFQs are often based on CCDC structure, and once your CCDC process is streamlined, more complicated request packages can be outlined and developed with confidence and speed.
